Delicious Coconut Barfi (Nariyal Barfi)is an Indian Dessert.

Coconut Barfi is very tasty to eat and you can make it very easily at home. You can make it in the form of a sweet during Raksha Bandhan, Bhaubeej & Diwali. Whenever you feel like eating sweets, you can make Coconut Barfi . Barfi is made of many types like Semolina Coconut Barfi(Nariyal Barfi) , Gourd Barfi, Gram flour Barfi.

Coconut Barfi(Nariyal Barfi) is prepared in less ingredients. Coconut Barfi (Nariyal Barfi) is liked by all children, whether small or big. If a guest suddenly comes to your house, then you can give this Barfi in sweets.

Traditionally Indian barfi is made using a variety of ingredients. You can store Coconut Barfi (Nariyal Barfi) for a long time. The ingredients required to make Coconut Barfi (Nariyal Barfi) are always available in our kitchen.

Fruit, Nuts, Spices, and other flavorings may be added to the Grated Coconut-Sugar mixture and yield different varieties of barfi. Typical nuts added include almonds, cashews, coconut, and pistachios.

How To Make Coconut Burfi (Nariyal Barfi) At Home |

Ingredients:-

1) Grated coconut – 1 no
2) Dry coconut powder – 4 tbls
3) Milk – 1 Cup
4) Milk powder – 80 Gms
5) Sugar – 6-7 Tsp
6) Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
7) Pistachio – 8 to 10
8) Rose Syrup – 2 tsp for color.
9) Ghee ( Butter) – 2 tsp

Instructions:-

1) Keep a pan on the gas for heating and put a grated coconut in it and stir continuously with a spoon for 2 minutes so that the coconut does not burn.

2) Now add 2 spoons of desi ghee and mix it well, now add dry coconut powder and mix it well. After this add 6 spoons of sugar and mix it, now take 1 cup normal temperature milk and pour it little by little in the pan and mix. Now add 2 teaspoons of desi ghee and mix it well, now add Dry Coconut Powder and mix it well. After this add 6 teaspoons of Sugar and mix it, now take 1 cup normal temperature milk and pour it little by little in the pan and mix.

3) Lastly, add milk powder to the pan and mix, now cook it until it becomes thick like Rabdi (Rabri), after that add cardamom powder and mix it and now cook it until all the water is absorbed. But till then it has to be kept stirring with a spoon on high flame. And when its water is completely absorbed, turn off the Gas and put some chopped Pistachios in it.

4) Now we will take a cake tin and Grease it with Ghee or you can also use Butter Paper, now we will take half of the prepared mixture in it and spread it with the help of Spatula.

5) And put 2 spoons of rose syrup in the remaining mixture and put the pan on the gas and mix it well and turn off the gas and now its color has turned red, then we will put the remaining mixture in the same Cake tin and spread it.

6) keep it in the fridge for 1 hour. After 1 hour, take it out and invert it in a plate and cut it in the shape of barfi with the help of a knife. Now decorate it with silver paper and chopped pistachios.

7) Our delicious Coconut Barfi is ready to eat.
